Christian Anger is a Non-Vengeful Reaction to Sin
Mark 3:5. God has given Christians a capacity and purpose for being angry. In Mark 3, Jesus as a man, gives us an example of being angry. Here Jesus became angry with the Pharisees over their hatefulness in regard to healing a person on the Sabbath. The Pharisees' purpose was to accuse Jesus versus seeking God's will concerning healing people.
Trusting Your Lustful Heart Will Lead to an Unhappy Life
Proverbs 7:25. Many of us fall into temptation and lust that leads us to live an unhappy life. Being out of the will of God and following our own lusts leads to self-destruction, disappointment, and dissatisfaction. A lustful heart can never be satisfied. Many strong people have subcombed to their lusts and have ended up leading a very unhappy life.

Proverbs 20:9. Many people seek perfection in everything that they do . Most perfectionists lead very unhappy lives because perfection is impossible without God. Only God is perfect. Proverbs 20:9 says, “Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?”.

Proverbs 3:5. Until we are willing to put our trust in God, we cannot sustain a passion for life. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” If we only lean on our own understanding, we will become disappointed in life. Proverbs 23:17. Many people never find their passion in life because they are looking in the wrong place. Instead of seeking God for what they should do in life, many people will seek their passion in the material possessions or other attributes that other people have in life. Seeking what others have leads to envy and disappointment in life.

Proverbs 16:9. Your heart is not always your best source for finding your passion. Many times your heart can lead you astray. Passion is a good feeling. It is where you find purpose, energy, and life. Our heart does not always lead us to good things.

Matthew 6:21. Finding your passion in life is not hard. The hard thing about finding your passion is that when you find it you may not like it. Matthew 6:21 advises us about how to find our passion. It says, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Bible Summary. As long as we are close to Jesus, we will have a passion for Jesus. A passion for Jesus only overtakes us when we have an extraordinary encounter with Him. We must continue to purify our heart to stay in relationship with Jesus. A relationship with Jesus is an extremely passionate relationship.
