Bible Summary. There are many examples of human weakness. David gives us an example of human weakness when he temporary lost his purpose that led him to adultery with Bathsheba and eventually murder of her husband. Wealth can be a human weakness if we let it control us. Another example of human weakness is our physical weakness.

Mark 14:38. One example of human weakness is our physical weakness. We may have good intentions to do something, but our body will give up on us. This is what happened to Peter, James, and John in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus had commanded them to sit and watch for Him while He prayed. This was a dark hour for Jesus.

Judges 6:15. There are many good excuses for not acknowledging God and the calling that is on our lives. Many of us when we are called by God, we give the good excuse that “I am not capable of fulfilling my calling”. The trouble with good excuses like this is that they do not work with God.

Romans 8:26. The Holy Spirit shows us how to make intersession for others. Even when we do know what to pray for, the Holy Spirit will guide us and lead us in spiritual warfare. Intercession is spiritual warfare because through it we secure blessings for others. The Holy Spirit helps us to overcome our own weaknesses and obtain the blessings of God.
