Intersession Is A Key Weapon of Spiritual Warfare

Intercession Causes God's Promises to Be Realized in Spiritual Warfare

Isaiah 62:7. Intercession is where we pray to God for the sake of another person or for a corporate cause. Many of the best prayers and intercessory prayers are when we remind God of His promises. God delights in us reminding Him of His promises. It shows that we have faith in Him and His promises. When we pray in this manner for another or for a corporate cause, our intercessory prayer is spiritual warfare. In intercessory prayer we are conquerors by bringing God closer to ourselves, and to others. Through intercession we are bringing ourselves and others into closer relationship with God so that His promises can be fulfilled in us ( Isaiah 62:6-7, "I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth").

ISAIAH 6 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Isaiah 62:7, "And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

Intercession in Spiritual Warfare Brings Blessings

Romans 8:26. The Holy Spirit shows us how to make intersession for others. Even when we do know what to pray for, the Holy Spirit will guide us and lead us in spiritual warfare. Intercession is spiritual warfare because through it we secure blessings for others. The Holy Spirit helps us to overcome our own weaknesses and obtain the blessings of God. The Holy Spirit shows us how to pray and intercede for other according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God").

ROMANS 8 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Romans 8:26, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

Intercession is a Spiritual Warfare Weapon to Bring God Into the Fight

Jeremiah 27:18. If you totally surrender to God's will, your intercessory prayers will bring God into the fight. This is what spiritual warfare and intersession are all about. If we are of God and what we are asking for is Godly, God will answer our prayers. Spiritual warfare is all about us lining up with God. Through intercession, God will respond and fight our spiritual warfare (Jeremiah 27:18, "But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon").

JEREMIAH 27 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Jeremiah 27:18, "But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon."
