Proverbs 29:15. It is natural for a mother’s love to be forgiving and not judging. At the same time a mother’s love should not just accept anything that a son or daughter does as OK. A mother must provide correction to her children when they are wrong. She still loves them, but she does have a responsibility to nurture and reproof a child. A child that is just left alone to do what he or she wants will become a shame to their mother ( Proverbs 29:15, “The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame”).

Revelations 21:8. The third type of death is Eternal death. Eternal death is eternal separation from God. If we have not accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will face death that is eternal on Judgment Day. Eternal death happens because man chooses sin (disobedience to God), and thus, we choose to be separated from God. Separation from God first starts off as spiritual death, but it will eventually turn to eternal death. This is the death we never want to face. We need to believe what the Bible says about eternal death.

Hebrews 12:7. God approves of child discipline. It is an essential part of a parent and child relationship. Hebrews 12:7 says "...what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?" If parents do not discipline their children they are basically telling the child that they do not care about them. They are saying they do not want to train their children in what is right. They do not want to give them wisdom to correct their behavior. They do not care for their future either here on earth or in the here after.
