How to Add Value – Do Not Misapply the Golden Rule
Proverbs 24:29. The Bible tells us how to add value in any situation by following the Golden Rule (Luke 6:31, "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise"). This means at work employees should treat bosses as they would desire to be treated and visa versa. What we need to watch out after is that we do not misapply the Golden Rule. It is easy to get caught up in an “eye for eye” (Exodus 21:24) situation. This is where if someone treats us poorly we will do the same to them.
Holy Spirit In Us and Godly Relationships - Definition Of Human Nature
Galatians 6:8. From a Christian perspective the definition of human nature cannot be explained adequately without explaining the human nature that is in right relationship with God. Our human nature may have the tendency to follow our sin nature, but that is not why God made us. God made us to worship Him. Jesus Christ gives us that opportunity to repent of our sin nature and be in right relationship with God (Romans 8:12-14, "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Reaping the Whirlwind – You Get What You Give
Hosea 8:7. If you do not put your resources to work as God’s good stewards, you will reap the whirlwind. If you are always chasing after “free stuff” (gambling, lottery, scams, stealing, always borrowing, and so on), you are sowing into the wind. If you sow into the wind, you will get what you give. You will reap a whirlwind. There are exceptions where someone wins a lottery or wins at gambling, but in this case they will reap the whirlwind in their personal life. The wife will leave them or even sue them. They will spend all their money on bad investments and frivolous goods.
Christians Believe That There Is Eternal Life
Romans 6:23. Whoever believes in Jesus Christ shall have eternal life (John 3:15, “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” ). Christians believe in eternal life. God has given the gift of eternal life to all believers. He has given this gift to us because He loves us and wants us to be with Him always. Through Jesus Christ, God has delivered us from sin and its wages of death.
