John 1:10. Just because we do not know God does not mean He does not exist. It is easy to believe the world is round or that our world revolves around the sun. We believe it because scientists have been able to measure and observe the Earth. With God, He is outside our five senses. He operates outside of our natural realm. We cannot know Him like we know material objects. This does not stop us from knowing God. 

Isaiah 56:11. Another key component of the definition of greed is that you are never satisfied with what you accumulate. The sin nature in all of us craves for more and more. If we have two cars, we want three. If we own a house, we want to own another one. If we have a wife, we want a mistress. If we were not constraint by our economic situation, most of us would continue to accumulate goods and would never stop.

Proverbs 6:32. One thing for you to remember when coping with adultery, is to realize that the adulterous marriage partner does not understand the full consequences of their actions. If they did, they would not have been tempted to commit adultery. An adulterer may not fully understand that his or her actions may very well destroy a marriage and family. The adulterer may not understand how God separates adulterers from His fellowship.
