We Should Fear Not Because God’s Promise of a Shepherd is Fulfilled
Jeremiah 23:4. God’s promises are the reason to fear not the things of this world. God has made many promises concerning Jesus Christ and things to come. Because of Jesus and the promises of the future we take comfort now and for our future. Those of us that have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior have nothing to fear because we have God‘s promises.
Joshua Feared Not Because God Promised That His Enemies Would be Defeated
Joshua 19:8, Where we are weak, God is strong. Where we fear, God tells us to fear not. Many of God’s promises are to address our weaknesses, shortcomings, and fears. Sometimes we may have all we need to overcome adversity, but we get discourage and need encouragement from God. This was the case with Joshua.

Genesis 26:24. When we have a relationship with God we need not to fear neither God, man, or anything else. Many people have a good reason to fear God, but not if you are in right relationship with Him. When we are in right relationship with God we are the recipient of his numerous promises and blessing.

Genesis 15:1. If we have a promise from God, we should not fear and should have peace concerning the promise. Not like man, God’s promises always come true. God is like no other person. When we encounter God, it can be quite fearful because he is full of all righteousness, truth, and love. When God makes a promise, it is right, it is true, it is full of love, and it will happen.

Proverbs and Ecclesiastes contain many wisdom scriptures from Solomon but there are many other books of the Bible that also contain the wisdom of Solomon. The book of 1st Kings provides a historical account of how God granted Solomon’s request for wisdom and how Solomon used wisdom for God’s glory.

Genesis 15:12. Sometimes sleeping difficulties may be a sign that God is about to tell you something important. This was the case with Abraham in the Bible.
Seek God, not Man, to Find Your Passion
Proverbs 23:17. Many people never find their passion in life because they are looking in the wrong place. Instead of seeking God for what they should do in life, many people will seek their passion in the material possessions or other attributes that other people have in life. Seeking what others have leads to envy and disappointment in life.
The Wrong Way to Overcome Guilt
Genesis 3:10. Guilt can be a heavy burden, but there is a right way and a wrong way to overcome guilt. Humans have experienced guilt since the Garden of Eden. The way that Adam and Eve tried to address their guilt is an example of a wrong way to overcome guilt. Adam and Eve experience guilt because they had disobeyed God by eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge.
God Can Shame You to Bring You into a Place of Honor With Him
Ezekiel 39:26. Sometime God uses shame to chastise us in order for us to come into a place of honor with Him. It is amazing that every time we drift from God, He will find a way to chastise us to do right. This chastisement may come in the form of physical afflictions or emotional distress.
Solomon's Obedience Would Bring True Success and Prosperity
1 Chronicles 22:13. David, near the end of his life, advised his son that total obedience to God would bring him true success and prosperity. David told him that obedience to God came from obeying God's commandments as given to Moses in the Wilderness. Solomon would now be the leader of the Israelites, and just as with Moses, Solomon was charged with fulfilling God's commandments.
Fear Nothing But God
Bible Summary. Fear nothing if you have God on your side. With God, there is no need for emotional distress. He is more awesome and powerful that any worry, fear, or person. When we are separated from God, we will let our imagination get away with us. We will focus on evil thoughts versus the good things of God. As a friend of God, we should not fear anything.
Good Excuses For Denying God – God is Not Convenient
Acts 24:25. Many of us have good excuses for not fulfilling God's purpose in our lives. For us that our ambitious or prosperous the best excuse is that doing God's purpose in our lives is not convenient. This is what happened when Felix, the Roman Governor, met with the Apostle Paul and received God's Word.
Spiritual Perfection Is Love, Without Fear
1 John 4:18. From a Christian perspective, spiritual perfection is based on love - love of God and love of people. This perfect love is "agape" love and is defined as unmerited favor. This Godly love casts out the fear in our lives and leads the way for us to be spiritually perfect.
Alms Giving is an Acknowledgement of God
Acts 10:2. It is so easy for us to get caught up in our day-to-day activities and forget God. This is not how God desires for us to live. He desires us to acknowledge Him in all things. This can be done through prayer and meditation, but it is also done through our alms giving.
Jesus Frees Us From Strife
John 14:27. Many times you may not be the source of strife, but then you get caught up in it. Someone may be boasting, and then you start boasting. Someone attempts to take something of yours and then you take something of theirs. Someone hits you, you hit them back. Only Jesus can free us of the strife of this world. Jesus enables us to not to get caught up in the strife and conflict.
