The Devil is a Distractor and Not a Worthy Opponent in Spiritual Warfare

Without Truth In Your Life You Are Separated From God
John 8:44. You can know God, but still be separated from God. Besides knowing God, God expects you to act on His truth (Titus 1:16, "They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.").
Perseverance Is The Only Spiritual Warfare Weapon Required Against the Devil
Ephesians 6:11. By us putting on the whole armor of God, we can persevere through any lie, temptation, and deceit that the devil may throw at us (Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil").

The Power Of Belief Turns Us Away From The Power Of Darkness
Acts 26:18. It is natural for us to turn toward the light if our eyes are open, but many of us when it comes to God keep our eyes closed. Fixing A Broken Relationship Through Self-Control and Resisting The Devil
James 4:7. God has given us the power and self-control to resist the devil and his temptations. All we have to do is exercise that self-control when fixing a broken relationship with God. If we resist the devil, He will flee from us. The only self-control we really need to fight temptation is the self-control to submit to God everyday. If we draw close to God, He will draw close to us.
