How to Control Anger

Bible Summary. All of us get angry. What is important is how do we control our anger. God has made anger part of our human nature, but anger needs to be channeled into constructive action. With child discipline we must control our anger and communicate clearly to the child why we are correcting their behavior. Control Anger by Hiding It Till Its Emotions Passes You By.

All of us get angry. What is important is how do we control our anger. Not all anger is bad, but uncontrolled anger results in bad things. God has made anger part of our human nature, but anger needs to be channeled into constructive action.

Control Anger With Children By Using Correction Versus Punishment.

With child discipline we must control our anger and communicate clearly to the child why we are correcting their behavior. We must also teach our children to control their anger when we are correcting and nurturing their behavior.

Key Bible Verse: Ephesians 6:4 advises us to nurture our children and control anger in our relationships with them.

Control Anger By Not Acting On It Immediately.

Anger is not necessarily bad, but it does need to be controlled. Acting out in anger with no thought or reflection of the cause of anger is a mindless act that will usually make a person's situation worst and not better. When anger arises in us, this is a time to seek God's guidance on what should be done.
