Show Christian Kindness As God Has Shown Mercy on Us
Titus 3:4. God's kindness and love toward mankind is our best example of Christian kindness. God did not show kindness to mankind because of our works and that we are pretty good people. God offers us the free gift of salvation in the person of Jesus Christ because He loves us (Titus 3:4-5, “But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”). This is Christian kindness that is kind to all people no matter whether they deserve kindness or not. Just as it is our choice for us to accept God's kindness of salvation, it is up to the person whether they will receive our Christian kindness. Just as Christians are charged to spread God's truth no matter whether people are willing to accept it, we are to spread Christian kindness no matter whether they deserve kindness or not.
