Definition of Christian Redemption – The Final Redemption Act Of Our Bodies Glorified
Romans 8:23. The definition of Christian redemption also addresses our physical body. Redemption will occur not only for us spiritually, but also physically. Our body will change from mortal to immortal. The final redemptive act of Christian redemption is the glorifying of our bodies. In the Last Days the redeemed will be fully adopted into God’s house having received His incorruptible spirit and an incorruptible body (Romans 8:23, “And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”). The redeem will receive their incorruptible bodies in the twinkling of an eye. The redeem will change and become fully incorruptible both in mind, body, and spirit being fully adopted into God’s family (1 Corinthians 15:51, “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”). Thank God for redeeming me.
