We Must Follow The Path Of Jesus' Resurrection

Romans 6:5. God has a resurrection plan for all us. He desires for us to follow in Jesus' footsteps to include going through our own resurrection resulting in eternal life. We that accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior are committed to follow in His footsteps (Romans 6:5-11).

As Christians, Jesus enables us to escape the consequences of sin that ultimately results in death. If your mother was a drunk, you do not need to be a drunk. If you committed adultery last week, you do not have to do it this week. If you were hateful to people yesterday, you do not have to be hateful today. Jesus' resurrection destroyed the consequences of sin and demonstrated the victory that we can have over death. With Jesus' resurrection act gives us the power to have victory over sin and death. If we continue in sin, it is only out of ignorance, disobedience, or habit. Jesus has completed the resurrection act; we just need to believe in him and follow in His footsteps. Following His path we will sin no more and can have a personal relationship with God.

ROMANS 6 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Romans 6:5, "For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:"
