Is There A God If We Deny Him?
Romans 1:20. Many people by their words and actions deny that there is a God. Denying God is a fruitless course of action. There is too much evidence in the world, to include the actual creation of world, to deny and ask is there a God.
Many of us get caught up in the day-to-day activities of this world, and do not look seriously at how this world got started or what is our purpose in this world. We deny God because we do not want to know how or why we were created.
Without God there is no adequate explanation of how the universe was created or to explain our purpose in life (Romans 1:20, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:").
At the same time why do so many people believe that God is a fable, and they will go to such lengths to disprove there is not a God? Their denial of God can only be explained in that they do not desire to glorify God, they do not desire to acknowledge their dependence on God, and they desire to continue in their disobedience of God by darkening their heart (Romans 1:21, "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened").
