The Secret Knowledge, The Mystery Revealed in the Person of Jesus Christ

Romans 16:26. God is the source of all knowledge, both revealed and secret knowledge. God is who decides what knowledge is revealed to mankind and what knowledge is kept secret. This is what happened almost 2,000 years ago when God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to reveal the greatest mystery to mankind. This mystery was (is) Jesus Christ and His salvation plan for mankind. God in His timing and purpose revealed this great mystery to mankind in the form of Jesus Christ. Before the coming of Jesus Christ, the elders and prophets of the Old Testament had faith there was a Messiah (a Savior), but at that time God did not reveal to the elders the person of Jesus Christ or His salvation plan. Jesus Christ is the secret knowledge (the great mystery, the good news) that God has now revealed to all of mankind. Though this good news is now public knowledge in the form of the Holy Bible, people can only full receive and comprehend this great mystery by obedience of faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 16:25-26, "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:”).
