How to Add Value – Stay Pure and Your Work Will Be Right
Proverbs 21:8. The Bible tells us how to add value and how not to add value in any situation. Proverbs 21:8 says, “The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.” This scripture is telling us that if we live by the way of man we will be full of strife and disobedience not adding value to the world around us. On the other hand if we live a life of purity that is pleasing to God, we will add value and our works will be right. The way of man is froward. Froward meaning “habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition”. The way of God is pure. Purity from a Christian perspective is “living by the rule of God, living a life that is pleasing to God”. Another way to say this is that a life of disobedience to God (the way of man - froward) adds no value to the world around us versus a life of obedience to God (the way of Jesus – Pure) adds value to the world and is pleasing to God.
PROVERBS 21 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Proverbs 21:8, The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
