Philippians
Think on the Good Things of God Versus Feeling Unloved
Philippians 4:8. If you are feeling unloved in a relationship, you need to think on the good things of God to show you the way. Above all do not separate yourself from Christian believers. Stay in church, stay under the word and allow peace to have her perfect work in you. Jesus is peace. Allow Him to reign in your heart, mind and soul.
Christian Virtues Are To Be Meditated On Continually To Assure Self-Control
Philippians 4:8. Jesus has revealed to mankind the virtues of God. Christian virtues include truth, honesty, righteousness, purity, love, and goodness. Through Jesus and self-control, anyone can achieve Christian virtues. Self-control is achieved by meditating on these virtues of Christ. Christ has given all Christian believers the power to live out the virtues of God and to sin no more.
Peace Comes With A Close Father-Child Relationship
A Christian father can bring great peace to a child. A child can learn, receive, hear, and see from their father which in turn will give the child assurance and peace in the future (Philippians 4:9, "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you").
The Power Of Christian Belief Comes Through Jesus' Resurrection
Philippians 3:10. Christian belief gives us the power to withstand the sin and death that is in this world. The power of belief is not based on anything that we have done. It is what we know.
Strife Causes A Bad Relationship
Philippians 2:3. Many people seek competitive relationships where they challenge each other to do better. This can be a good thing for a good purpose. The problem is when a competitive relationship does not have a good and common purpose. This causes strife, and strife causes a bad relationship.
