Parents Provide Good Things; God Does Better

Matthew 7:11. Most of us know that our parents will always strive to provide us with good things. God who is perfect and never lies can do so much better in providing us good things. The best gift He provided us was the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ's crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. God will provide good things if we trust in Him. There is no good reason for us to doubt God, and ask ourselves why do we lack. We must believe in God's promises and be obedient. To receive good things from God all we need to do is to be good, faithful sheep and look to our Shepherd for all of our needs (Matthew 7:11, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?").
