Good Values – Seeking God's Love and Mercy
Jude 21. Good values come from God. The Bible teaches us that we must value God above everything else. Jude 21 says, “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life”. Keeping ourselves in the love of God is the ultimate, good value. God is love and His love is what we should value above all things.
We Hate God Because We Do Not Know Him
Jude 1:10. We tend to dislike things we do not know. If we are confronted with something we do not know and perceive it as a threat, our reactions can be quite hateful. This is the way many of us our with God. We do not really know God so we hate God. We only know that He and His righteousness gets in the way of us enjoying our sinful ways.
