Insatiable Desire Will Keep You From Your Blessings
Joshua 7:12. When you defy God and go your own way with your insatiable desires, you lose your blessings from God. This is what happen when Achan took the accursed things out of Jericho. God's protection and blessings were no longer with Israel as long as Achan continued to covet gold and silver above God (Joshua 7:12, "Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed...."). God will not have a relationship with us, if we are putting anything above him. When we have an insatiable desire for sex, money, or fame, we cannot inherit God's blessings (Ephesians 5:5, "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.").
Joshua 7 BIBLE SCRIPTURE: Joshua 7:12, "Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you."
