Jeremiah 27:18. If you totally surrender to God's will, your intercessory prayers will bring God into the fight. This is what spiritual warfare and intersession are all about. If we are of God and what we are asking for is Godly, God will answer our prayers. Spiritual warfare is all about us lining up with God.

Jeremiah 9:23. When a person is centered only on themselves they do not realize that God is in control and that they need to be centered on God. God created this world, not us. We have forgotten God when we glory in our own wisdom, might, and riches. We deceive ourselves when we think we can rely on ourselves.

Jeremiah 9:6. You can define delusions from a Christian perspective as getting so caught up in lies that we tell ourselves that we do not even realize we are rejecting God by believing those lies. We will start with little lies such as thinking that God is the God of love, but conveniently forgetting that he is also the God of righteousness.
