Jeremiah 23:4. God’s promises are the reason to fear not the things of this world. God has made many promises concerning Jesus Christ and things to come. Because of Jesus and the promises of the future we take comfort now and for our future. Those of us that have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior have nothing to fear because we have God‘s promises.

Jeremiah 31:29. Most of us are deeply influenced by our parents. This can be in a good or bad way. The Bible tells us to honor our mother and father, and we should respect their authority. At the same time, we cannot use our parents or our past as an excuse to do wrong in the sight of God.

Jeremiah 23:16. It is a natural desire to know about the future. The Bible tells us that visions can tell us about the future. The challenge is that the Bible also tells us that not all visions, dreams, and prophecies come from God, and thus all visions are not true.

Jeremiah 1:6. God is calling all of us, but most of us think we are not ready to fulfill God's purpose in our lives. Instead of answering God's call, we will give what we think is a good excuse to not fulfill our calling.
