Isaiah

God Can See the Future Because He Has the Ability to Declare the Future

Isaiah 42:9. God is awesome because he is able to do more than just see the future, he is able to declare what the future will be. Seeing the future and declaring the future is something that only God can do. Just like when He created the world, God said, “Let there be light” and there was light (Genesis 1:3). God is all powerful, all present, and all knowing.

God is My Judge, My Lawgiver, My King, My Savior

Isaiah 33:22. Isaiah 33:22 tells us that “... the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the lord is our king: he will save us.” This scriptures describes God as the ultimate authority in our lives. God is the ultimate Judge in our lives as He alone decides whether we will have eternal life or eternal death.

The Word of God is the Key to Success

Isaiah 55:11. The most powerful force is the universe is the Word of God. God's Word is the key to success in this world and in the hear-after. God is the only one that can say something and it is (ex. “let there be light ..."). God has given us His Word in written form called the Bible.

Woe Unto Them That Call Evil Good

Isaiah 5:20. It is so tempting to call something evil good, but in the end it will end in calamity and God's judgment. Isaiah 5:20 says, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" We must seek God's truth in everything we do.

Feeling Unloved By God Because of Your Sin

Isaiah 43:25. If you repent of your sins, there is no reason to feel unloved by God or anyone else. You may have committed adultery or lied to someone, but God still loves you. God forgives you the first time you repent of your sins. (Isaiah 43:25, “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins”).

Christian Kindness is Not Just an Act, But a Way of Life

Isaiah 54:10. God is a God of kindness and mercy. He shows us how we should show Christian kindness to others. God's kindness is eternal. It is not something He bestows on to mankind on special occasions. His kindness and mercy is offered to us always. It does not matter how much we are disobedient to God, how hateful we are to God, or how little faith we have in God.

Knowledge of God – Our Strength and Our Salvation

Isaiah 33:6. The knowledge of God enable us to not be moved by our circumstances. The knowledge of God enables us to act the same way in good times and in times of strife. When we have the supernatural knowledge that God is our salvation we can draw strength from Him where others will despair. People who rely totally on their wealth and money will despair when they have no money.

How To Trust - Trust God's Word

Isaiah 30:12. When we ask how to trust someone, we really need to be asking how do we trust God. Every time we put our trust in man instead of God and His Word, we will be let down. In fact, when you are putting your trust in someone or something else, you are basically saying that you do not trust God. God as our creator tells us in His Word, the Bible, to trust Him.

Love Ones - Trust Them As Well As We Love Them?

Isaiah 30:3. It is easy to think that love and trust go together, but the Bible teach us not to trust man or the things of this world. The only one we should both love and trust is God. We can love our fellow man, but we should only put our total trust and faith in God. When we put our faith and trust in someone or something above God, we are wrong.

Trust Definition - Love Truth; Do Not Trust Lies

Isaiah 59:4. The definition of trust is the "reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, and surety of a person or thing". Another way to say this is that trust is all about relying on the promise of what another person or thing can do (what you think they can do). The issue with trust is that people will mistake a promise for a truth.

Intercession Causes God's Promises to Be Realized in Spiritual Warfare

Isaiah 62:7. Intercession is where we pray to God for the sake of another person or for a corporate cause. Many of the best prayers and intercessory prayers are when we remind God of His promises. God delights in us reminding Him of His promises. It shows that we have faith in Him and His promises.

Definition Of Greed - Never Satisfied

Isaiah 56:11. Another key component of the definition of greed is that you are never satisfied with what you accumulate. The sin nature in all of us craves for more and more. If we have two cars, we want three. If we own a house, we want to own another one. If we have a wife, we want a mistress.

Definition of Deception – Deceivers Are Separated From God

Isaiah 59:2. God cannot be in the presence of sin. A key Christian aspect of the definition of deception is that it is a sin. Deception is no more than a lie. It hides the truth. When we deceive people, God separates Himself from us. He will neither show His face nor listen to us when we are spreading deception. When deception is present there is no justice, nor truth.

Define Conscience As Jesus, the Highest Standard That You Seek

Isaiah 11:10. Jesus came on this earth as a standard for all of mankind to follow. He showed us how to love God and to love our neighbor. He is a standard for everyone.
