Redemption Definition – It Is Through Sin We Became Followers Of Satan, Separated From God

Genesis 3:6. To be redeemed we first have to be lost, separated, and captive, be in slavery, and so on. In the case of the Christian redemption definition, we are separated from God and need redemption to be able to be reconciling back to God. But what separated us from God if He at one time called us, His creatures, very good? The answer is that sin entered our lives through Satan. It all happened in a twinkling of an eye when our forefathers, Adam and Eve, ate of the tree that God had told them not to eat. Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, were disobedient to God. Mankind followed Satan into sin. In the garden of Eden mankind sinned in three parts. We saw that the fruit was pleasant to our eyes (lust of the eyes) even though we were told we could not have it. We saw that the food was good to eat (lust of the flesh) even though we were not allowed to eat it. We sought wisdom by eating of the fruit even through this would be disobedient to God (pride of life) (Genesis 3:6, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat”).

GENESIS 3 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Genesis 3:6, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”
