Redemption Definition – In The Beginning
Genesis 1:31. To understand the redemption definition, we must understand that at one time we were in fellowship with God. We were not separated from God. There was no need for redemption. There was no ransom that needed to be paid. A long time ago nothing and nobody needed to be reconciled back to God. Everything on the Earth was in fellowship with God. This included animals, the fish, the birds, the land, and even mankind. God called His creation good. In fact He called it very good (Genesis 1:31, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day"). There was no sin. Everything was very good.
GENESIS 1 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Genesis 1:31, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
