Definition of Perfection - Perfection is Without Sin
Ezekiel 28:15. The definition of perfection means "lacking nothing essential to the whole; complete of its nature or kind". From a Christian perspective, the definition of perfection means being without sin. The Bible tells us that sin in its most basic form is being disobedient to God. The Bible tells us that only through our faith in Jesus Christ can we obediently yield to God and be without sin - be perfect. Jesus is perfect. When Jesus walked on this Earth in human form He was without sin. He was perfect. He lovingly and obediently yielded to His Father (God) in everything that he did while on this Earth. Another Biblical example of a person being perfect is in regard to angels. Angels can be perfect. At one time Lucifer (Devil) was an angel and was perfect in God's eyes (he was obedient to God). But as the Book of Ezekiel describes, one day God found sin in Lucifer. Lucifer's sinful disobedience to God was his downfall. Lucifer was no longer perfect (Ezekiel 28:15, "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee").
EZEKIEL 28 BIBLE SCRIPTURE Ezekiel 28:15, "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee".
