The Sleep Needs and False Comforts of the Spiritually Dead
Ephesians 5:14. Beware of sleep needs and remedies that are driven by the false comfort of material things or driven by the apathy of a meaningless existence. We may think we are fulfilling our sleep needs, but in reality our sleep can be just as corrupting as when we are awake living a sinful life.

Ephesians 5:3. Fornication may seem like a harsh word to describe the act of two people living together before marriage, but it is the truth. A common definition of fornication is “voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other”. This definition makes fornication and living together seem like something that is not that bad.

Ephesians 1:19. God's power transcends everything to include the power of darkness. The problem is that if we do not believe in God and His mighty power, we cannot partake in His fellowship or His power over sin and death.

Christ Awakens the Conscience
