God is My Judge Who Will Judge the Righteous and the Wicked
Ecclesiastes 3:17. In the book Ecclesiastes, Solomon said to himself that God is my judge; He is everyone's judge, both the righteous and the wicked (Ecclesiastes 3:17, "I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work". In God's timing all of us will be judged for our disobedient acts against God.
A Consumption Economy is Never Satisfied
Ecclesiates 5:10: A consumption economy's only purpose is to consume goods and services. From a Biblical perspective this is vanity. This is a purpose that can never be satisfied.
Governments Are Responsible for Swift Justice
Ecclesiastes 8:11. The Bible provides a lot of wisdom in regard to the purpose of Government. This not only includes broad, guiding principles such as the Ten commandments, but also on small matters such as how Governments should manage judicial courts.
Learning Patience by Quelling Your Pride
Ecclesiastes 7:8. Part of learning patience is to quell our pride. If we have pride in our spirit, we put ourselves first above all people to include God. Pride does not want to wait; it wants instant gratification. Pride has no purpose except self-gratification. Pride is at odds with God's purpose in our lives. Patience comes with us having hope in something greater than ourselves.
Knowledge of God is Better Than Wisdom or Money
Ecclesiastes 7:12. The supernatural knowledge of God is far superior to all the knowledge and resources of man. Studying the accumulative knowledge of man will bring you wisdom, but it is only a worldly wisdom that is of use in this world. This wisdom will not prepare you for spiritual things of life (supernatural things outside your five senses) and for the here-after.
Vanity In A Relationship Is A Sign Of A Bad Relationship
Ecclesiastes 1:2. Ecclesiastes 1:2, says “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.” Vanity consists of no purpose, no reward, and overall trivializes things. Vanity adds no value to any human relationship. A high level of vanity in a relationship is a sure sign of a bad relationship.
The Secret of Happiness Is To Be Acceptable To God
Ecclesiastes 9:7. If you want to be happy, be in fellowship with God. If we are in fellowship with God at all times, we cannot be anything else but joyous. When we are in fellowship with God, every little thing such as a simple meal or a drink of water as well as any action we take is done in joy. Fellowship with God comes with us accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
