Discovering God’s Divine Nature

1 John 4:17, God’s nature can be summed up in two words: love and righteousness. As followers of Jesus, we are here to discover God's love and righteousness. We discover God  through prayer, fasting, study, and living a life in fellowship with God.  Through us seeking God continuously, His righteousness and love is made perfect in us. We become one with God taking on His characteristics ready to stand boldly on the day of judgment (1 John 4:17, "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world").
