Cain Had Freedom Of Choice
1 John 3:12. Cain at first made attempts to serve and love God. He brought God unworthy offerings. God counseled him and told Cain how to serve Him, but Cain just chose to continue in his disobedient. It soon became obvious that Cain made a deliberate choice to not serve God as he did not come back to God with a worthy offering. Cain clearly chose to be disobedient to God, but his choice of placing sin above God also led to other consequences. He also began to hate God's righteousness. This is evident by his killing of his brother Abel. Cain only killed his brother because Abel was righteous (1 John 3:12, "...Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.").
BIBLE SCRIPTURE: 1 John 3:12, "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous."
