Born Again Christians Have The Seed of God In Them
1 John 3:9. When you are born again, you have God in you in the form of the Holy Spirit. As God cannot be in the presence of sin and disobedience, sin is destroyed in you when the Holy Spirit is in you. As a born again Christian, you have God’s seed in you that provides every thing you need not to sin any more. For you to remain born again, you commit no more sin in your life.
Hating People That Remind Us Of Our Wrong Choice
1 John 3:12. Because of our sin nature, we have a tendency to make wrong choices and not serve God. In our heart of hearts we know we make wrong choices, and that the end result of our bad choices is death and destruction. We know that sex out of marriage is wrong and God is not pleased with our actions. We know that our selfish actions hurt others and makes enemies.
Cain Made A Personal Choice To Hate Righteousness
1 John 3:12. Cain, the son of Adam and the bother of Abel, made his own choice to murder his brother. 1 John 3:12 says, "...Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous." Cain only murdered Abel because his brother was righteousness. The way of Cain is to hate righteousness.
Like Cain, Hating God's Righteousness
1 John 3:12. In the final analysis, Cain hated his brother Abel because his brother was righteousness. Abel's righteousness highlighted that Cain's works were evil. This is the only reason that Cain murdered Abel (1 John 3:12, "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him?
Gracious Uncertainty

Cain Had Freedom Of Choice
1 John 3:12. Cain at first made attempts to serve and love God. He brought God unworthy offerings. God counseled him and told Cain how to serve Him, but Cain just chose to continue in his disobedient. It soon became obvious that Cain made a deliberate choice to not serve God as he did not come back to God with a worthy offering.
Difference Between Love And Lust - Lust Only Cares For Itself
1 John 3:17. A key difference between love and lust is that lust only cares for itself (self love). Lust always focuses on an object to fulfill its desire. This object can be a woman, money, a car, a dress, fried chicken - anything. From lust's perspective its object of affection is only there to fulfill. Lust has no compassion for what it lusts for.
Definition Of Compassion - Human Kindness and Deeds
1 John 3:17. The definition of compassion must include human kindness as well as good deeds. Someone cannot have human kindness in them unless they have the love for others. God is the best example of compassion. He loves all of mankind whether or not any one individual loves Him or not. Because of this love, God desires to bless us.
Sin Unto Death
1 John 3:15: All sin eventually leads to death. 1 John 3:14-15 says, "We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." When John spoke these words he was talking to fellow believers.
Hating People Leads To Death
1 John 3:14. Hate is a bad choice to make in any situation because it is the opposite character of God. The Bible teaches us that God is love (1 John 4:8), not hate. The Bible also teaches us that a Christian is a person that can love their neighbor as they love themselves (Mark 12:31).
Believe and Rely on Jesus
1 John 3:23. God gives each of us an opportunity to establish a relationship with Him by believing in His Son, Jesus Christ and to love one another. For us not to lack, we must truly believe in God's plan. We must truly believe that if we abide in Him and His Truth we will live more abundantly.
If We Believe In God's Plan, We Will Have Abundance
1 John 3:22. God has a plan for all of us to have abundance. The problem is that we do not want to put faith in His plan. God tells us to just believe in the name of Jesus Christ and whatever we ask, we will receive (1 John 3:22, "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight").
