What Is The Love That God Desires From Us?

1 John 2:5. By us accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God gives us the spirit of power, love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.") He has given us a part of him. He asks for us to grow in love of Him and our fellow man. He desires for us to grow in our love of Him and our fellow man that the love of God may be perfected in us (1 John 2:5, "But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him").
